Hi, I’m Angela and I have been a practicing Hypnotherapist since qualifying with a Diploma in Therapeutic Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (Dip.THP) from the National School of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (N-SHAP) in 2008. I am also a practicing Performance Coach certified by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

My interest in hypnotherapy came from taking a meditation workshop at a very busy conference. This led me to explore the history of meditation which in turn led me to learning about the history of hypnosis and hypnotherapy.
​
Throughout my hypnotherapy training and in my continued CPD I experience all the techniques that I utilise in my practice. I also enjoy hypnotherapy myself for any issues I need and want to explore finding the practice both relaxing and life enhancing.
​
I have an academic, clinical and professional background in psychology, social care and mental health research management, having worked for 20 years in local authority social services and the NHS.
​
I am interested in working in a non-judgemental way with individuals who wish to explore how they can make positive changes to feelings, thoughts and behaviours that may be causing them some discomfort.
​
My approach is an integrated one encompassing Ericksonian suggestion therapy, neuro-linguistic programming techniques, analytical approaches, guided affective imagery, counselling and cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy.
​
I trained as a Performance Coach whilst working in the NHS in order to help others within the organisation to release their own potential. I have experienced the benefits of coaching on more than one occasion throughout my career and firmly believe this can help create exceptional changes.

I believe each individual deserves time and space to explore and work through any issues they have identified and if you do choose to work with me I guarantee I will offer you a safe, relaxed and comfortable environment in which to make positive changes.
